He started playing guitar at the age of six having his father as a teacher. He graduated with excellent by all accounts from Halkidonio Conservatorie in Athens Greece with his father Thanasis Zylis as a teacher. He won first prizes in Volos Guitar Competition in both categories young guitar competition and no age limit guitar competition. He has participated in many masterclasses with A.Desiderio, Z.Dukic, M.Tamayo, H.Kappel, C.Cotsiolis and he has attended for three years Master Studies with Costas Cotsiolis. He has a diploma of Musicologist from the University of Athens. He is giving concerts in Greece and abroad and he has appeared many times in TV. He teaches guitar and music theory at Halkidonio Conservatorie in Athens Greece being also the Art Director of Halkidonio Guitar Festival in Athens and the Director of ''The Classical Guitar Project'', organizing online masterclasses and seminars with some of the biggest names on the world’s stage classical guitar.
